Cville - Hipper Than You

We'll get to the Jolly Old Elf in a minute. I had forgotten to mention that I eat out...a lot! And on Monday, we went to Duner's to have a birthday dinner for my friend Tracy. If you are looking for a place with great variety, especially tasty seafood selections, then this could be a good choice. (See pic below of loudest table at Duner's on Nov. 20th.) Thursday, it was off to Martinsville to dine with the fam. The picture to the left is of Santa after the world's shortest Christmas parade in Barracks Road on Nov. 24th. Despite its lack of length, the parade brings out huge crowds. My favorite parade float/display/entry...the bagpipes. They make me feel mountain fresh! I forgot to get a picture of them, though. Lately, I seem to be forgetting quite a bit.
