Cville - Hipper Than You

You may or may not know the name D.C. Stokes. If you do, you may have grown up with him, played softball with/against him, or met him through a mutual friend. If you don't, then I'm sure you know someone like him...a person who had a very unfortunate health problem hit him in the prime of his life. D.C. is a young man who recently experienced kidney failure, and like many people who have unexpected setbacks these days, he has found himself facing a hefty potential financial bill, after insurance coverage, for a kidney transplant. There is a benefit dance being held for D.C. this Saturday, March 14th, from 8p-12m at the Holiday Inn on Emmet Street. There will be snacks provided and a cash bar available and, of course, dancing. The cost is only $15/person. If you know him, I know you want to be there. If you don't, then you don't want to miss out on helping and meeting someone who has been such a wonderful friend to the Charlottesville area. See you there!
