Working for the Weekend
And what a weekend it is going to be! Whether you are Foxfield-ing it, parade-ing it, or golf-ing it, this weekend promises to be a hot and fun one. For me, I'm attending the Foxfield event at Farmington tonight to benefit Service Dogs of Virginia. It's a casino-themed party, so I'm ready to win big! It's a good thing that we are playing the games with fake money, because when it's the real thing, I tend to not hold on to it for long. Then, tomorrow, I am braving the heat at Foxfield. I'm probably the only person in C'ville that actually likes 90+ degree temps, so for me, it will be a perfect day. Then Sunday, it's a visit to Davenport Field to see the UVA baseball team take on NC State. Whew! Pictures to follow...
Also, a big Happy Birthday to our buddy, Todd Johnson! He's celebrating all weekend long. So, if you see him, buy him a tall, frosty one.
